I have just finished reading my first book of 2013, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Now I have to decide what to read next. :( such a hard decision!! I'm debating between Skinny by Ibi Kaslik, Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon, or rereading my one of my favorite books: The Fault in our Stars by John Green. Oh how I love TFIOS... great book. marvelous. makes me cry and I am a heartless robot that cries at (almost) nothing.
But Outlander was a great book that was well balanced with magic and science, superstition and rationality. I recommend it to all my friends who like to read romances. It is a very well written romance novel that still gets enough action and excitement into it that kept it in my hands at all times.
Too bad I dont have any friends on here to recommend it to. :( oh well. at least I can get my thoughts out and record my reading progress through 2013 somewhere. :)
